Susanna Gorst converted a disused tractor barn at Oxcombe Farm, near Horncastle, into a ceramics studio in 2014, and now runs it as a working pottery that also teaches. The Top Studio holds five throwing wheels and a slab-roller for termly classes and six-week beginner courses, while the Crew Yard, heated by a wood-burning stove, hosts open studio sessions and private tuition for up to ten people at a table. Courses range from a single afternoon of hand-building or throwing to a six-week introduction to ceramics on Tuesday evenings or Saturday mornings, and the site also runs floristry, lino-printing and wet-felting workshops taught by visiting tutors. Groups can book the barn for parties or corporate days. The setting stays agricultural rather than polished, with the studio reached along farm tracks off the Wolds road toward Louth.
