Merlin Labron-Johnson — whose Osip up the road holds a Michelin star, retained in the 2026 guide — opened this wine bar and épicerie in a five-hundred-year-old former pharmacy during the lockdown of early 2021, and it grew from soups and sandwiches into a proper bistro on the produce of Osip's two farms. In the summer of 2026 it relaunches as The Pharmacy, with joint head chefs Zsuzsanna Toth and Marc Ackland and a Field Kitchen arm taking the cooking outdoors for events. The building has dispensed one thing or another for five centuries; the current prescription is seasonal, simple and short.
