Timberstone is a bed and breakfast run by Tracey and her partner Alex in the hamlet of Clee Stanton, a few miles from Ludlow on the slopes of Titterstone Clee Hill. The property offers five en-suite rooms, each named for local stone and geology: Oak, Slate, Clay, Dhustone and Ash, the last named for the dark basalt quarried nearby and offering ground-floor access. Rooms look out over garden and farmland, and breakfast is served using local produce. The house combines a beamed older section with more recent additions, and self-catering accommodation is also available on the same site for longer stays or larger groups. Children of all ages are welcomed, with cots and highchairs provided, and up to two well-behaved dogs may stay per booking, making it a practical base for walkers exploring the surrounding Clee Hills.
