Wickers World occupies a harbourside building at 21 Harbour Quay in Wick, overlooking the fishing harbour. Victor and Val Robertson, who moved from East Lothian, have run the café and its four-room bed and breakfast since April 2019. The kitchen prepares daily specials, all-day breakfasts, soups and a wide range of home baking, including tray bakes, fudge cake and strawberry tarts, alongside speciality teas and coffees. Each of the four guest bedrooms is en suite, with a television and hospitality tray. The café draws a mix of locals, North Coast 500 travellers and ferry passengers routing through Scrabster to Orkney, and has built a strong reputation on review platforms for the quality and value of its food and the warmth of its service. It remains independently owned and trades from this single harbourfront premises only, with no other branches.
