15grams started at a kitchen table in 2019, when co-founders Joe Faulkner and Inas Sid began roasting coffee after Faulkner spent ten years managing specialty coffee shops. Their first café opened in Greenwich in 2021 at 28 Greenwich Church Street, built around a Bauhaus-influenced fit-out Faulkner designed himself, and a second café followed in Blackheath in late 2022. The roastery supplies three staple blends, Church Street, Meridian and Tranquil Vale, plus rotating single-origin lots chosen for their terroir. Customers can subscribe to home delivery from £13 a month or buy beans wholesale. Table reservations are available at both cafés, which also pour wine and cocktails alongside coffee.
