Atelier Arts

Beverley Chapelhow runs Atelier Arts from Bowland Chambers on Harris Court, a working studio and gallery space she has kept going since the site was known as Ribble Valley Art Studios. Up to seven other artists rent studio space alongside her, and the front room sells paintings, art cards, and handmade recycled-wood jewellery made on the premises. Chapelhow, who holds a fine art degree, teaches adults of all levels through her own Create, See, Learn sessions, working across plaster sculpture, ceramics, oils, and watercolour. The gallery keeps modest hours, open Tuesday and Saturday late morning into the afternoon, though a chalkboard outside signals when Chapelhow is in and the door is open.
