An independent museum at 156 High Street, run by Biggar Museum Trust SCIO, a registered Scottish charity. The displays cover 14,000 years of rural and small-town life in Upper Clydesdale, from Scotland's earliest people through the House of Fleming and nineteenth-century rural life to the mid-20th century, with the Gladstone Court Streetscape, Crimean heroes and Polish soldiers among the rooms. VisitScotland 5 star rated, opened by The Princess Royal on 16th October 2015. Adults £7; ML12 residents free with proof of residency.
