Bryn Woodlands House is a guest house in a Victorian villa built in 1894, a few minutes' walk from Colwyn Bay's promenade and shops. Tracey and Joel Toulmin took over the property in April 2015 after moving from Bedfordshire, restoring its period rooms while adding en-suite bathrooms and four-star Visit Wales accreditation. Breakfasts, cooked using local produce, have been shortlisted for Best Breakfast in the Luxury B&B Awards, and Tracey Toulmin has since been recognised on regional business lists for growing the guest house. It remains a single-site, owner-run guest house with a handful of bedrooms, rather than a chain or serviced-apartment operation.
