The only surviving pub in a village that once had nineteen, in a former slate-quarrying and livestock-market centre in the Preseli hills. Serves real ale including Wye Valley Butty Bach, with a real fire, beer garden and darts. Functions as the social hub for Maenclochog and surrounding hamlets.
