Meadow Grange Nursery is a family-run plant nursery and garden centre on Honey Hill in Blean, on the A290 between Canterbury and Whitstable, trading since 1966. Across several acres, the nursery grows and sells shrubs, trees and bedding plants, alongside a farm shop and an on-site cafe serving hot drinks, light lunches and homemade cakes. The business has grown from a small plot into its present size under continuous family ownership, and remains independent of the larger regional garden centre groups operating elsewhere in Kent. Opening hours run Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6pm, and Sunday, 10am to 4pm, with the cafe keeping its own, slightly shorter hours. The nursery supplies both retail customers and, through its farm shop, seasonal Kent produce, and it markets itself directly as a local independent business rather than trading under a franchised garden centre name.
