Oakfield Farm Shop and Deli operates from Belper Road in Stanley Common, near Ilkeston, where it began trading as a small farm shop in 2005 before expanding in 2018 into a purpose-built, energy-efficient building housing a butchery, deli counter and cafe under one roof. The shop sells home-reared and locally sourced beef, poultry and pork alongside own-pressed cider made from apples grown in nearby orchards, plus bread, preserves and cheeses from small producers across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The farm remains a single, family-run site with no sister branches, and the attached cafe serves meals using produce from the shop floor. It has become a regular stop for shoppers seeking food traceable back to the farm rather than supermarket alternatives.
