Quicksilver Jewellery has made handmade sterling silver jewellery in Laugharne since 1988, when silversmith Alby Barratt moved his trade from Portobello Market to the town. His daughter Rosie Thorne now works alongside him in the shop, and the pair also run bangle-making workshops for visitors at a nearby resort. The business won a Carmarthenshire retail award in 2024.
