Stod Fold Dean Clough is the taproom of Stod Fold Brewing Company, founded by Angus Wood and Dr Paul Harris, who between them bring backgrounds in brewing and microbiology. The bar occupies D Mill within Dean Clough Mills, the Grade II listed former Crossley Carpets works built between 1840 and 1870, once the largest carpet manufacturer in the world before its 1982 closure. Seven hand pumps serve Stod Fold's core cask beers alongside seasonal brews, cocktails and wine, with food supplied by the in-house Stod Fold Yorkshire Kitchen. The venue hosts a monthly supper club and comedy nights, and offers discounted lunch rates to workers based elsewhere in the Dean Clough complex. Opening hours run Thursday afternoons and Friday to Sunday, closed Monday to Wednesday.
