Summerhall Distillery

Pickering's Gin has been hand-crafted and hand-bottled at Summerhall in Edinburgh since 2014, in a distillery that co-founders Marcus Pickering and Matt Gammell built by hand in a space that had been the kennels for The Royal Dick Vet School. The recipe is an original Bombay one dated 17 July 1947, kept as a family secret for over 66 years. It was the first exclusive gin distillery in Edinburgh in over 150 years. Distillery tours, cocktail sessions and food and drink pairings can be booked.
