Black Cat Tea& Coffee Room

The Black Cat Tea & Coffee Room has traded on Prestongate in Hessle since 2016, run by a husband-and-wife team as a family business. The menu covers all-day breakfasts, paninis and light lunches through the day, moving to afternoon tea service with homemade scones, cakes and ice cream sundaes later on. Coffee is served as a specialist blend, and the kitchen bakes its cakes on site each morning. The tea room has built a following among Hessle locals and day-trippers, with regulars returning for the breakfasts and the afternoon tea stands in particular. It sits a short walk from Hessle's parade of independent shops, within reach of the Humber Bridge Country Park and foreshore.
