Delina serves Ethiopian and Eritrean food from Arch 176 in Shepherd's Bush Market, run by chef and owner Nazareth, who started the business as a street food stall in July 2013, trading at markets across Hammersmith, Fulham and Shepherd's Bush before settling into the arch. The name comes from Tigrinya and means to want or desire, reflecting Nazareth's approach to adapting recipes from her East African upbringing for a London kitchen. Dishes are prepared without gluten, dairy, meat or preservatives, built instead around injera, lentils, spiced vegetables and slow-cooked stews shared from a central platter. Alongside the kitchen, Nazareth runs cooking classes teaching traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean techniques and hosts coffee ceremonies, a ritual central to Ethiopian hospitality. The arch opens Wednesday to Saturday from late morning into early evening.
