Down 2 Earth is a family-run garden centre on Beltonanean Road in the Sperrin foothills outside Cookstown, established in 2010 by Pat McRory. The business has built its trade on hedging: bare-root and root-ball stock, native and perimeter hedging, ornamental and fruit trees, sold with hands-on planting advice suited to Northern Irish ground and weather. It participates in the Forestry with Native Trees grant scheme and supplies both retail visitors and larger landscaping orders. Stock is available for collection at the centre or delivered across the UK and Ireland, with seasonal bare-root planting running through the winter months. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm, closed Sunday. It remains a single-site independent operation, run directly by its owner rather than as part of any chain or group.
