Sperrin View Glamping is an independent self-catering site on the Blackrock Road outside Cookstown, set in the Sperrin foothills close to Davagh Forest and the OM Dark Sky Park, Northern Ireland's only designated dark-sky park. Accommodation is in insulated glamping pods, each with its own kitchenette and shower room and a fixed roof window positioned over the bed for watching the night sky, taking advantage of the area's low light pollution. The location suits walkers and mountain-bikers using the nearby Davagh trails, with the forest and observatory roughly a mile and a half away. It is a small, owner-run operation rather than a holiday-park brand, offering short breaks and longer stays year round. Guests self-cater within the pods, and the surrounding Sperrins provide walking, cycling and stargazing within easy reach of the site.
