Moss Pottery Studio opened on Moss Lane in Altrincham in 2023 as a ten-seat teaching studio offering hand-building, wheel-throwing and paint-a-pot sessions for individuals, families and private groups. Alongside the classes, the studio runs a small store selling work by other makers, including ceramics, hand-blown glassware, jewellery, house plants and homeware chosen for its handmade origin rather than mass production. The studio sits in the centre of Altrincham's market town, a short walk from the market hall, and takes bookings for one-off sessions as well as four-week courses for those wanting to learn the wheel from scratch. Gift vouchers are available for classes and for items from the store. The business is registered with Companies House as Moss Pottery Studio Ltd and continues to add new class formats as demand grows, including sessions aimed specifically at families with younger children during school holidays.
