Daniel Tapper founded Beak Brewery in 2020 after several years spent brewing recipes on borrowed kit around the UK, before settling the operation at Unit 14 on the Cliffe Industrial Estate in Lewes. The taproom runs fifteen keg lines covering hop-forward IPAs, pilsners and imperial stouts, and opens Friday through Sunday only, with a separate barrel store nearby handling weekday click-and-collect orders. Street food traders rotate through the taproom on different days, and the site allows both children and dogs, with a covered outdoor area, fire pits and patio heaters for colder evenings. Table bookings are optional since the taproom keeps space free for walk-ins. Beak brews and sells everything through this one site rather than a separate distribution arm.
