Boston LockCafé

Boston Lock Café occupies a seventeenth-century warehouse at Witham Bank East, overlooking the River Witham at Sluice Bridge. Sarah Moysey runs the café, which was set up as a limited company in 2018. Coffee comes from Stokes of Lincoln, and sausages for the cooked breakfasts are sourced from Carl Dunham Butchers on nearby Red Lion Street. The menu runs from a Lock Keeper's Breakfast and a Farmer's Breakfast to shakshuka, croque monsieur and a pancake stack, with food prepared in-house rather than bought in. Seating spreads across the ground floor of the old warehouse and a small terrace by the water. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 8.30am to 3pm, with last orders for hot food at 2.30pm; closed Monday and Tuesday.
