Castlecat Studio Gallery occupies a converted stable at 76 Castlecat Road, in the hamlet of Castlecat outside Bushmills, showing a permanent exhibition of around fifty oil, watercolour and pastel paintings by artist James McNulty. The single-site gallery sits within the stable block of a former farmhouse, with paintings depicting the north coast landscape, Rathlin Island and the Glens of Antrim hung throughout the converted space. McNulty also sells limited edition prints of his coastal scenes alongside the original works. The gallery is open to visitors Wednesday to Saturday and bank holidays, from midday to six in the evening, with the artist typically on site to discuss the work. Castlecat is reached from the Bushmills to Ballymoney road, a few minutes' drive inland from the town.
