A local history museum run by the Gillingham Local History Society, which formed in 1953 and opened this ground-floor, wheelchair-accessible museum in 1996 with Heritage Lottery funding. Displays include reproductions of John Constable's Gillingham paintings, an 1790 fire engine, railway history from the 1856 line, and exhibits on the town's former bacon and butter factories.
