Glasfryn Parc occupies part of the Glasfryn Fawr estate on the Llŷn Peninsula outside Pwllheli, run by Jonathan Clough Williams-Ellis, whose family also created Portmeirion further along the coast. The farm shop and butchery, opened in 2001, sell Welsh Black beef and Llŷn lamb reared on the estate alongside home-cured bacon, sausages, cheeses and preserves. Next door, the café and dining room serve homemade food throughout the day, with a licensed bar open daily. Outside, the working farm's outbuildings have been converted for go-karting, quad biking, archery and a soft play barn, so a stop at the shop or café can be combined with an afternoon on the estate. The site opens every day of the year except Christmas Day, from 9.30am, with free parking and admission.
