Surveyed
Nant Gwrtheyrn is a Welsh language and heritage centre occupying a former granite-quarrying village at the foot of a steep valley on the Llŷn Peninsula coast near Llithfaen. Restored from near-dereliction from the late 1970s onward, the settlement runs residential Welsh-language courses, houses a small exhibition on the quarrying community that once lived there, and offers simple accommodation in the former quarrymen's cottages. The site is reached by a single narrow road that drops steeply from the cliff top down to the shore.
