Housed in the former St Mary's Church overlooking Nefyn, this volunteer-run museum was founded in 1977 to record the seafaring history of the Llŷn Peninsula, including its shipbuilding and merchant sailing past. The church building dates to 1827 on a much older site, and the museum reopened in 2014 after a lengthy closure for repairs.
