Melbury Vale Vineyard was planted in 2006 on a south-facing hillside on Foots Hill, just off the A350 at Cann Bridge, about 1.5 miles south of Shaftesbury in the Stirkel Valley. The family-owned business built its winery in 2013, making wine, liqueur, brandy and cider from the vineyard and associated sister sites in Dorset. Visits are by prior appointment; there is no passing trade. Closed during 2026 following winter storm damage.
