Selby GlobeCommunity Cinema

Selby Globe Community Cinema is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit cinema operating out of Selby Town Hall on York Street. It launched in September 2009 and runs a weekly Monday evening screening, a Silver Screen matinee with lunch for older audiences, holiday programmes for families, and an outreach service taking films to rural parts of the Selby district. It won the Duke of York Community Initiative Award in 2011.
