The Garden Roomat Castleton Barn

The Garden Room is a self-contained studio that Pat and Catherine let alongside their own house at Castleton Barn, three miles east of Hay-on-Wye on the Herefordshire side of the border. Converted from one of the old barn buildings, it has a kingsize bed, a shower room, and a small well-equipped kitchen, with French doors opening onto the shared garden. Guests let themselves in with a key safe. Underfloor heating runs off an air-source heat pump, and there is a car charging point on site. The Wye Valley Walk passes close by, and the Bannau Brycheiniog hills are about fifty minutes' drive. The couple let the adjoining Cottage at Castleton Barn next door.
