The ParkBistro

The Park Bistro occupies a converted grain barn on Park Farm, a working arable holding a mile east of Linlithgow on the banks of the Union Canal. Full-length windows along one side of the dining room look out over the water, and a large patio takes outdoor covers when the weather allows it. The kitchen serves breakfast through dinner seven days a week, and in 2020 the family added a separate takeaway counter, the Burger Barn, built into the same building. Seating runs to around seventy covers, modest by restaurant standards but sizeable for a farm conversion. The business remains under the same family that farms the surrounding arable land, rather than being leased out to an outside operator, and the canal towpath brings in passing walkers and cyclists alongside diners who book ahead.
