Wallingford Museum opened to the public in 1981 inside Flint House, a medieval oak-beamed building on the High Street, following decades of local collecting by the Wallingford Historical and Archaeological Society. Volunteer-run displays cover the town's Saxon walls, its former castle and Victorian street life, with temporary exhibitions changed through the season.
