Dundee Ceramics Workshop is an open-access clay studio on an upper floor of Wasps Meadow Mill, a converted jute mill on West Henderson's Wynd. Set up by the Tin Roof arts collective with support from Creative Scotland and the Dundee Futures Fund, it runs as a registered charity staffed largely by volunteers. The studio welcomes complete beginners through to practising ceramicists, offering throwing and handbuilding classes, monthly memberships, studio space, kiln hire and one-off workshops, along with clay kits and gift vouchers. It is a single-site, independent community facility rather than a college department or commercial gallery. Sessions are booked ahead, and the open-plan layout is shared between members, students and partner organisations. For visitors it is more a place to make than to buy, though members' work occasionally appears for sale.
