Cassie Gerrard opened That Little Bookshop on Tipping Street in Stafford town centre in August 2025, after testing the idea with a pop-up stall inside the local Dunelm store the previous year. The shop stocks new fiction and non-fiction alongside book-themed gifts, and sets aside a reading room with fireside armchairs for browsing rather than just buying. Gerrard, who moved into bookselling after earlier careers in accountancy and complementary therapies, runs a monthly book club called the Feast and Fiction Book Club and takes online orders through a partnership with Bookshop.org. The shop closes on Mondays and otherwise opens through the week and at weekends.
