Thieving Harry's occupies a former Gibson Bishop & Co fruit warehouse on the corner of Humber Street, the building's industrial brickwork left largely intact. It began as a pop-up in 2011 before settling into the site permanently, serving breakfast through to late drinks with a marina view over the River Humber. Coffee is drawn from The Blending Room, Hull's own micro-roaster, alongside a rotating brunch menu of burgers, breakfast plates and vegetarian options. The café doubles as a bar in the evenings, with live music and DJ sets at weekends. Its position at the top of Humber Street places it inside the Fruit Market, the old fruit and vegetable trading quarter redeveloped around Hull's UK City of Culture year. It remains independently run, one of the original businesses to open in the area before the wider regeneration took hold.
