Tonbridge Brewery began production in 2010 and moved three years later to its current home on the Branbridges Industrial Estate at East Peckham, between Tonbridge and Paddock Wood. The brewery makes cask-conditioned real ales from barley grown and malted in the UK, fermented with a house yeast strain traced back to London's old Barclay Perkins brewery and deposited in the national yeast bank in 1958. Classic English-style ales use Kentish hop varieties grown within the county, while newer recipes bring in hops sourced further afield, and the full range is sold in both cask and can. The brewery is a member of the Society of Independent Brewers and holds SALSA food safety certification, and all its beers are brewed to be gluten-free and suitable for vegans.
