Liam McKay has cooked for twenty-seven years and owned this room for ten of them — the tenth anniversary fell across 2024 and 2025 — moving it in August 2023 from Music Hall Passage to Pepper Street, where it holds two AA Rosettes and a run of consecutive Michelin Guide mentions without the theatre that usually attaches to either. A sister restaurant, Twenty Eight, runs next door with a business partner; the pair of companies share one chef-director, which is the point of the name.
