Glen LyonCoffee

Fiona Grant founded Glen Lyon Coffee in 2011, roasting in a bothy in Highland Perthshire before the operation moved to Aberfeldy Business Park in 2014. The team now runs two Probat roasters, a 12-kilo and a 25-kilo machine, supplying speciality coffee to more than 150 cafes, restaurants and delis across the UK. Over 65 percent of green beans are bought through direct trade, with roughly half sourced from women-owned farms. In 2022 the roastery became the first in Scotland to import green coffee by sailboat rather than container ship. The public shop opens Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, selling coffee, pastries, beans and merchandise. Glen Lyon is B Corp certified and runs a Coffee Academy mentoring scheme for local school leavers.
