Ericht Alehouse

Volunteers have run the Ericht Alehouse as a community pub since mid-2023, keeping the Wellmeadow bar going after it was registered as an Asset of Community Value. The Category C listed building has held a pub on the site since 1802, and today's volunteers pour six changing cask ales alongside ciders and a selection of Scottish gins and malts across two small rooms split by the bar. Tayside CAMRA named it Perthshire Pub of the Year in 2023, 2024 and 2025, recognition that follows decades of awards under former licensee Kenny Fraser. The alehouse is closed on Mondays and opens from five in the evening the rest of the week, with earlier hours on Sunday.
