Moyness Nurseries

Moyness Nurseries has grown on the same site on the Coupar Angus Road since the 1940s, when James McIntyre senior began raising tomatoes and cut flowers before the family switched focus to soft fruit in the 1970s. Now run by Dave and Ben McIntyre, the nursery produces upwards of a million raspberry canes a year from around sixty acres in the Strathmore valley, alongside blackcurrant, gooseberry and other soft fruit varieties sold as containerised, pre-packed or bare-root plants. The attached garden centre stocks bedding plants, shrubs, compost and tools for the wider Blairgowrie growing season, serving both home gardeners and commercial fruit growers. Stock is sourced carefully from across the UK to keep quality consistent from one season to the next.
