New WaveSurf School

New Wave Surf School operates from a surf hut at Lossiemouth East Beach, on the Moray coast. It was set up in 2007 by Donald Peace and is run as a family business, with his children helping to teach and manage sessions. The school offers surf lessons for adults and children, board and wetsuit hire, stand-up paddleboard lessons, kids' surf camps and surf-skate coaching, and it uses the East Beach and other nearby breaks depending on conditions. Equipment, changing rooms and a board store are kept at the hut, and lessons are booked ahead by season. It is an independent operator rather than a franchise, and one of the longest-established surf schools on this stretch of coast. Sessions run mainly through the warmer months, with wetsuits provided to extend the season. Booking is advised, as group sizes are capped.
