Cumbrae Voyages operates wildlife and adventure boat trips from Largs Yacht Haven on Irvine Road, using custom-built twelve-seat rigid inflatable boats. Guided runs work the islands and inlets of the lower Firth of Clyde, with near-daily sightings of grey seals, gannets, cormorants and oystercatchers and occasional porpoises, dolphins and passing whales. The fast, open RIBs get close to Little Cumbrae and the Ayrshire coast and across to Mount Stuart on Bute, and the crew talk through the marine life and landmarks as they go. Alongside scheduled wildlife tours, the business handles private charters, group outings, stag and hen days and bespoke trips, and can arrange accommodation and catering around longer bookings. It is an independent Largs-based operator rather than part of a larger tour chain, running from the marina pontoons just north of the town centre.
