Isle of Cumbrae Distillers makes gin and a blended whisky called Lion Rock from a small site on Millport's Guildford Street, on the island of Great Cumbrae just off the North Ayrshire coast. The business is run by a team of women and sells directly from its own shop as well as through a handful of local stockists. Bottle labels are designed by island-based artists, tying the range to the wider Cumbrae community rather than a generic brand identity.
