Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre occupies 45 Eastborough, a community-run museum recording the town's maritime past. Registered charity number 1144532. Subjects covered run from herring and line fishing, whaling and cobles to the 1914 bombardment, shipwrecks and the RNLI, Titanic connections and women's work, alongside an archive, library and photographic galleries. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm; closed Monday and Tuesday. Volunteers and members support the work.
