Petter Southall, a designer craftsman in wood, and Anna Powell, curator, opened their gallery in a Georgian rope warehouse at West Bay in 2006 — 2026 makes twenty years, marked with a David Inshaw solo show in the autumn programme. The pillared rooms hang contemporary British art above Southall's own furniture and designer craft in ceramics, glass and textiles; entry is free, and the licensed café — a Taste of the West gold in 2025 — serves locally sourced lunches Wednesday to Saturday, with suppers on Saturday evenings. The flower-filled courtyard finishes the argument.
