Trinity Theatre occupies a Grade II* listed former church in the centre of Tunbridge Wells and operates as an independent theatre, arts centre and registered charity. The building has been in community use for around two centuries and has run as a theatre for more than 40 years, staging comedy, live music, drama and independent cinema screenings alongside educational workshops and family matinees in school holidays. A clocktower on site opens for heritage tours. The venue is reached on foot from Tunbridge Wells station and sits close to the town hall and The Amelia museum. As a charitable trust rather than a commercial chain, Trinity relies on ticket sales, memberships and grants to fund its programme, and its converted-church setting, with the original nave used as the main auditorium, remains one of the more distinctive performance spaces in the West Kent area.
