CardiffMADE is a gallery and shop set up in 2013 by artists Zoë Gingell and Josh Leeson at 41 Lochaber Street in Roath, operating as a community interest company. The single site sells original paintings, prints, ceramics and other work by Welsh makers, alongside an in-house bespoke framing service for gallery purchases, artists and personal collections. Exhibitions rotate through the gallery space, including a long-running archive show of work by associate artists such as Kate Shooter, Eleanor Whiteman, Sarah Garvey and Lucia Jones, and the shop takes part in the annual Roath Gallery Weekend with workshops and open studios. Purchases over fifty pounds can be spread through the interest-free Ownart scheme, and the gallery, shop and framing studio all operate from this one Lochaber Street address.
