Jonkers Rare Books occupies a shopfront at 27 Hart Street, Henley-on-Thames, where Christiaan Jonkers has traded in first editions, signed copies and illustrated books since founding the business in 1994 as an extension of his own undergraduate collection at Oxford. The Henley shop opened in 1998 following a merger with Bromlea Books, and today holds particular strength in twentieth-century literature, modern first editions and children's illustration, alongside books on rowing and the River Thames reflecting the town's regatta history. Jonkers is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. The Hart Street premises are the only shop; there are no other branches. Stock spans several centuries, catalogued and sold both from the shop and by appointment.
