Minskip Farm Shop trades from the Yolk Farm site on Minskip Road outside Boroughbridge, selling produce grown in the farm's own market garden alongside free-range eggs from hens kept on the surrounding six-hectare paddock. Meat is bought in from local farmers and butchers, including T.S. Hartley & Sons, and the shop states that roughly 95 per cent of its stock is sourced within thirty miles, with close to half coming from within ten. The wider Yolk Farm site includes a café serving all-day brunches built around eggs, a play barn, and paddocks where visitors can see pigs, alpacas and pygmy goats. A wood-fired pizza operation runs on Friday evenings. The farm sits two minutes from Junction 48 of the A1, making it a stop for both passing traffic and local shoppers.
