On Bridge Street in Boroughbridge, the Tap on the Tutt occupies a Grade II listed building refurbished to keep the feel of an old brewery tap: a fireplace lounge, a bar with a pool table, and a beer garden behind. Four rotating cask ales are joined by two regulars, drawn from Yorkshire breweries including Rudgate and Timothy Taylor, with guest beers from Daleside, Ossett, and Pennine appearing through the year. Local CAMRA members named it Branch Country Pub of the Year for 2026, and the pub's interior is listed on the National Inventory as being of outstanding historic importance. The pub takes its name from the River Tutt, which runs close by, near the town's medieval bridge and market square.
