The Old Bank Coffee Shop occupies a building on Stewartstown's main square first built in the 1830s for a local fabric merchant and later converted into an Ulster Bank branch in 1925. The bank closed and the building stood empty for around four years until local businessman Don Ryan bought it, converting part of the premises into self-catering accommodation and opening the café in September 2022. The old bank vault has been kept as a feature of the seating area. The kitchen serves breakfasts, lunches, tray bakes and coffee through the day, with dine-in, takeaway and outdoor seating on the square. The company, The Old Bank Coffee Shop Ltd, was incorporated in September 2022 and remains active, trading from this single Stewartstown premises.
